Job Responsibilities:
1. Supply Chain Full Process Management: Coordinate and manage the entire international transportation process of sea freight, railway transportation, and multimodal transport, including booking, document review, trailer customs declaration, in-transit tracking, port arrival customs clearance, and distribution, to ensure the timely and safe delivery of goods. Establish and optimize standard operating procedures (SOP) and operation guidelines for each business line to ensure the team operates in compliance and efficiency.
2. Customs Affairs and Compliance Management: Be responsible for the overall customs affairs of imported and exported goods, review customs declaration documents, coordinate with customs brokers to handle customs inspections, document anomalies, etc., and control the customs clearance time. Pay attention to trade policies of various countries, import and export restrictions, and tariff changes, issue early warnings and formulate response plans to avoid compliance risks.
3. Supplier and Cost Management: Develop, evaluate, and assess international logistics suppliers (shipping companies, airlines, freight forwarders, overseas agents, customs brokers, overseas warehouses, etc.), effectively control logistics costs through inquiries, negotiations, and freight rate management. Regularly analyze logistics costs and output cost optimization reports, proposing cost reduction and efficiency enhancement plans.
4. Overseas Warehouses and Inventory Coordination: Coordinate the inbound, storage, picking, outbound, and return and exchange operations of overseas warehouses, monitor inventory accuracy and turnover efficiency.
5. Team Building and Exception Handling: Lead the operation team (operations, documents, customer service, etc.), assign and supervise daily work, organize business training to enhance team professionalism. As the escalation handler for major exceptions, respond quickly to customer complaints, damage claims, transportation delays, etc., promote problem resolution and conduct post-mortem analysis and optimization.
6. Build an International Logistics Full Process Monitoring System: Monitor key KPIs such as on-time delivery rate, damage rate, customs clearance time, etc., output operation reports. Promote the in-depth application and functional optimization of logistics information systems such as TMS/WMS.
Qualifications:
1. College degree or above, majoring in logistics management, international trade, supply chain management, etc.
2. 3-5 years of practical experience in international logistics, with at least 1 year of team management or project coordination experience, proficient in the entire chain of sea freight/ railway import and export.
3. Possess a result-oriented mindset, strong adaptability, able to adapt to cross-time zone work, calmly handle various unexpected situations; those with experience in maritime operations or related projects in Tanzania, Nigeria, etc. are preferred.
4. Proficient in various trade terms (Incoterms), settlement methods (L/C, T/T, etc.), and various documents such as bills of lading, letters of credit, and certificates of origin.
5. Familiar with customs declaration procedures and HS code classification, with experience in AEO advanced certification enterprises preferred.
6. Understand international logistics-related regulations and risk points, possess strong supplier negotiation and cost analysis capabilities, as well as a strong cost awareness and service awareness.
7. Have excellent logical thinking and communication and coordination skills, capable of leading a small team to tackle challenges, and also able to efficiently collaborate with internal and external resources.
8. CET-4 or equivalent level in English, able to handle English emails, documents, and conduct basic business communication with overseas agents without obstacles.
9. Proficient in Office software (proficient in Excel data processing and report analysis), with practical experience in ERP, TMS, WMS systems.
10. Required to be willing to travel overseas.
Salary and Benefits: 10-12K/month + performance bonus (before tax)
